Writing & research

Thinking in fragments, finding a thread.

Writing is part of the practice: a place to stay with questions about identity, time, the body and the worlds we make together.

An ongoing letter

A life still unfinished.

Work in progress · Excerpt translated from the Chinese draft

“I have been writing this letter for more than two years.

It began with the existential question ‘Who am I?’ and gradually found its way into the illusion of time, systemic oppression, and the hidden structures of embodied practice.

I discovered that I was only the tip of the iceberg of the conditions of my time.

… In this age of collective sleeplessness, I struggled to write a narrative of dawn—then realised that dawn arrives of its own accord.”

The Chinese working title is 你命运半写就,人生未完成,站在因果冰山上寻求自由. This excerpt is from an ongoing, five-part writing project.

From thought to practice.

Questions about identity, continuity and support also enter the films and the shared space of Wilder Mountain Dojo.
